Cultual Pioneer · Creative Director · Strategic Advisor
Working alongside facilitators, project leaders, and organizations building something real in art, community, and social impact.
For over 30 years, I have been building projects, spaces, and communities at the intersection of art, social transformation, and collective practice — internationally, across cultures, and often in territory that did not yet have a name.
I work with people and organizations who are doing something that matters — and who need support to bring it into form, hold it under pressure, or take it further than they could alone.
My work draws from an unusual combination: structural clarity rooted in artistic depth. I have designed and led more than 350 international projects — festivals, training programmes, cultural centres, participatory initiatives — across Europe, India, Central America, and the United States. I helped shape the global landscape of Contact Improvisation and Ecstatic Dance as an early pioneer and practitioner.
I do not work from the outside. I enter the actual dynamics of a project — the tensions, the complexity, the people — and help create the conditions in which something essential can unfold.
My practice is rooted in anthropology, somatic methodologies, and a long-term relationship of initiation and transmission with the Senegalese griot Nago Koite — whose work in African storytelling and ritual has fundamentally shaped how I understand collective processes, rhythm, and embodied knowledge.
Artists, cultural entrepreneurs, facilitators, project leaders, and organizations working in art, community, and social impact — at the moment when vision needs to become real, or when something that was working needs to be rebuilt.
